We regret to advise residents and businesses that we will be continuing to restrict water supplies over the coming days in order to restore reservoir levels across the Dublin region. These restrictions will be applied in the form of either water off or pressure reductions and will be reviewed on a daily basis. All restrictions will continue to be notified through the Emergency Blog and Aertel Page 630
We are still appealing to households to CONSERVE WATER whenever and wherever possible, which will greatly assist the recovery effort. Our crews will be out again today across the County fixing leaks and repairing burst mains. Remember that if you notice a significant leak in your area, you can report it to burstmains@dlrcoco.ie
Whilst the Council offices are now closed until Tuesday Jan 4th, our staff continue to work behind the scenes to manage this situation and are working in close co-operation throughout the holiday period with our neighbouring Dublin local authorities. Urgent queries and/or reports concerning the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area may be referred to our out of office hours emergency number (01) 6778844.
Your continued patience and co-operation is greatly appreciated.
A further update will be posted by 17:00 today or as soon as information becomes available.
