Water Disruption - Hyde Park, Dalkey - Update 4.00 pm 27.02.13

Due to a burst watermain in the Hyde Park, Dalkey area, the water supply has been disrupted to facilitate this repair.

We apologise for this inconvenience and hope to restore the water supply as soon as possible.

Water Disruption - Killiney Road - Wednesday 27th February @ 1.00pm


Update at 16.05 pm Water Services Crew still working on repairing this burst main and it is estimated to have water restored by 6 pm this evening.
Water has been turned off in Killiney Road, due to a burst watermain. The Water Crew are currently on site repairing this main and it is hoped to have water restored as soon as possible.

Areas affected include: 

Killiney Road
Anglesea Park
Springhill Park
Ballinclea Road
Ballinclea Woods
Cluny Grove
and may also affect surrounding areas.

Patrician Villas, Stillorgan - 11th Feb 2013


Due to a burst watermain in Patrician Villas, Stillorgan water has been turned off there in order to necessitate repair.

The Water Crew are currently on site repairing the main and it is hoped to have water restored as soon as possible. 

Unfortunately, at this stage an exact time cannot be given when water will be restored.

After any work on the watermain there may be some initial discolouration or particiles in the water. Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Off - Farmhill, Goatstown - Friday 8th February @ 9.45 am

Update at 2.30pm:  Water has now been restored.


Due to a burst watermain, water has been turned off in Farmhill, Goatstown in order to necessitate repair.

Water Disruption - Killiney Heath - Thursday 7th February

The burstmain has been repaired and water turned back on to all households at 12.30 pm Thurs 7th Feb.  As a significant area has been affected it may take some time for water to get to all households, it is hoped that by 1.30 pm all households should have their water supply restored.

Update at 10.00am on Thursday 7th February 2013:

The water crew are still working on this burst and hope to have water restored as soon as possible.

Saintsbury Avenue is also affected.

and surrounding areas

The water crew are currently on site trying to locate the source of the problem and it is hoped to have water restored this evening.  However, this is a complex job and the water crew will endeavour to have water back this evening but if this is not possible water may not be restored until tomorrow morning.

Water disruption 6th Feb 2013 - Mackintosh Pk, Dun Laoghaire

Update at 4.00pm:  Water has now been restored.

Due to essential works water has been turned off in Mackintosh Park, Hillview Drive and Hillview Lawn area.

Notices were delivered to all households informing them of this work and it is hoped to have water restored by lunchtime today.
