The Council's crews have been out with snowploughs and JCBs clearing roads today and will continue to treat the County road network this evening and tomorrow morning.
Met Éireann has forecast that air temperatures will remain well below freezing point in many areas tonight, with ice and compacted snow persisting. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown may be affected by further snow showers resulting in accumulations of 2 to 5cm in places.
There has been a significant community effort over recent days, with many residents and businesses clearing snow from in front of their houses and business premises. The Council would like to acknowledge and thank you for your continued assistance.
