Flooding Update 25th October @ 10.35 am

Council staff, in conjunction with the Gardai and Fire Services, worked around the clock last night to clear the most badly affected areas.

We are continuing to deal with a large volume of reported incidents and all available resources have been deployed across the county.

Flooding Update 24th October 10.30p.m

We are pleased to advise that access to the Emergency number 6778844 has now been fully restored. Please note that we are dealing with a large volume of reported incidents across the county and even though all available resources have been deployed to alleviate the most badly affected areas, it is likely that it will be some time before the situation returns to normal..

Due to the heavy volumes of calls currently coming in to our Emergency number 6778844, we understand that some customers are experiencing difficulty in getting through. Additional crews have now been drafted in from all major service departments in the Council and will be assigned to clearing the most badly affected areas.They will be working round the clock in conjunction with the gardai and fire services.

Water Disruption Thursday 13th October 2011 - updated 5.00 pm

Due to a water leak\burst - Stradbrook Road and Montpellier Place are currently without water. The water crew are currently working on fixing this leak and restoring the water supply.


Due to another water leak\burst - Glenageary Road Upper, Swan's Hollow, Albert Road, Silchester Road and surrounding areas are currently without water.  The water crew are currently woring on fixing this leak and restorting the water supply.
 
The Council regrets this disruption to the supply and at this stage cannont give an exact time when water will be restored.

Low Water Pressure - Brook Court, Monkstown - Tues 11th October 2011

Residents in Brook Court, Monkstown will experience low water pressure again this evening due to a water leak in the area. The crew are currently working on locating the leak and restoring full supply.

Water has been disrupted to Temple Road, Blackrock due to a water leak in the area - the water crew are currently on site and working on restoring the water supply.

Water off - 4th October 2011

Due to a burst watermain there is an interruption to the water supply in the Woodbrook / Bray Road areas.
The staff of the Water-Services section are working to locate and repair the problem.

UPDATE. 16:30
The Staff of the Water Services Section are continuing to work on the problem with water supply at Woodbrook / Bray Road and will continue to work into the evening.  Some areas may experience disruption to supply until tomorrow morning.  The County Council apologises for the inconvenience caused.
