The burst has now been repaired and the water switched back on.  Please note that the system will take some time to re-fill and water will slowly come back to your premises.  

After any work on the watermains, there may be some initial discolouration or particles in the water.  Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Services were unable to repair the burst main overnight, therefore there is still water disruption to the areas listed below.  We apologise for this disruption and are making every effort to rectify the situation as a matter of urgency. 

Due to a burst watermain, the following areas will be affected by loss of water or very low pressure.

Pine Valley Estate
Grange Road, Rathfarnham
Harolds Grange Road
College Road (part of)
Kellystown (may also be affected).

Some surrounding areas may also be affected by this burst.

Every effort is being made to repair the main as quickly as possible.

Due to essential maintenance work on the watermain, the water supply will be disrupted between the hours of 09.30 and 17.30 approximately on Wednesday 22nd January 2014.

Customers are advised that on completion of the works there may be some initial discolouration of the water.  Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Disruption Brook Court, Monkstown - 16th Jan 2014

Water turned back on 16.00 hrs.

Water has been disrupted to Brook Court, Monkstown and immediate surrounding areas due to essential maintenance works on the Fire Hydrants.

The Water Crew are on site and it is hoped to have water restored by 4 pm this afternoon.

After any work on the watermain there may be some initial discolouration or particles in the water.  Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Disruption - Loreto Estate, Rathfarnham 15th January 2014 @ 11.15 am

Due to a burst watermain water has been turned off in the Loreto Estate, Rathfarnham in order to necessitate repair.

The Water Crew are currently on site repairing the main and it is hoped to have water restored as soon as possible.

Burst Watermain - Rockville Estate - Update Wednesday 15th January 2014 at 9.30 am

Due to a burst watermain, the water supply has been disrupted to Rockville Estate, Newtownpark Avenue.  We presently have a crew fixing this burst and water will be restored as quickly as possible.

Water has been turned off in Killiney due to a burst watermain.  The Water Crew are currently on site repairing this main and it is hoped to have water restored as soon as possible.
