Sandyford/Stepaside/Mount Merrion Water Update - 26/12/10 @ 12:30

Residents are advised that water pressure is reduced in the Sandyford & Stepaside areas and may be interrupted entirely at peak demand times in higher areas near Stepaside village. Reduced pressure will continue today (Sun 26th) and supply will be cut off tomorrow for some hours to permit further repair work on pumps supplying the area. Further details on times will be posted on this blog as information becomes available.

Areas affected include -  Enniskerry Road, Aikens Village, Sandyford Village, Stepaside, Stepaside Park, Belarmine, The Rectory, Cairnfort /Cruagh Wood, Lambs Cross,, Blackglen Rd, Barnacullia, Harold's Grange Rd, Woodside Rd, Hillcrest Road, Kilgobbin Road and roads off it , Sandyford Hall, Sandyford Road towards Dundrum, Ticknock Hill, Simons Ridge, Kellystown, Central Park, Leopardstown Rd, Mt Eagle, Leopardstown Heights, Meadowfield, Coolkill, Ballyogan Rd, Murphystown Rd and roads off it.

Residents are advised that the Council has replenished water bowsers in place at Stepaside Park and St Patrick's Park.

Interruption to Water Supply in Callary Road, Mount Merrion
A burst watermain has caused interuption in supply to Callary Road , Mount Merrion and roads adjacent. Supply will not be restored until tomorrow, Mon 27th. Further details on times will be posted on this blog as information becomes available.
