Treatment of roads in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown - 21/12/10 @ 12 noon

As the heavy snowfall continues, Council crews are currently out using snowploughs to clear key transport routes in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

Public transport should be availed of in the first instance - Irish Rail are currently operating a full DART service in the County,(http://www.irishrail.ie/), and the Luas Green Line is currently operating a full service between St. Stephen's Green and Brides Glen stops (http://www.luas.ie/). Dublin Bus is also serving routes in the County, though some curtailments are in place - please visit http://www.dublinbus.ie/ for full details.

Motorists are advised to drive with extreme care, and allow plenty of extra time for any journey.
