Treatment of roads in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown - 23/12/10 @ 18.45

The Council's gritting crews will be out treating all major routes again this evening and tomorrow morning, and snowploughs, JCBs and other plant machinery have been deployed during daylight hours to keep roads clear. Special attention has been paid to the worst affected areas, where snow has accumulated over recent days.

The NRA has reported they are well-positioned in terms of salt deliveries over the coming days, and DLR's supplies are currently sufficient.
