Water Supply Update 14/01/2010 20.24pm

As a consequence of the reduction in water supply pressures which are being implemented across the County, some businesses and households will experience a loss of water supply. In addition to the impact of this general reduction in water pressure, businesses and households in the following areas will lose supply as a consequence of specific restrictions being implemented:

Water Off : Killiney/Glenalua and adjoining high areas.

The above areas will be without water from 18:00 on 14/01/10 for a period of up to 24 hours. Please continue to conserve water and check the Council's website for updates.

Water Off : Carysfort Avenue/Blackrock

The upper areas of Carysfort Avenue including Carysfort Park, The Cloisters, and other roads off the upper end of Carysfort Avenue will continue to be without water or to suffer a severe reduction in water pressure until mid-morning on Friday 15th January 2010

The Council are aware that the lower areas of Carsfort Avenue and the general Blackrock area are currently without water or are suffering from a severe reduction in pressure. It is hoped that water will be restored to this (lower) area this evening.

Please continue to conserve water and check the Council's website for updates.
