16:10 26/1/10 Pressure reduction notice for Tuesday night 26th January 2010.

Due to the ongoing crisis in the water supply situation in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council all of the county remains subject to pressure reductions until such time as the water supply situation stabilises.


Due to the critical water levels in the Church Road, Sandyford and Stillorgan reservoirs, the following areas will be suffer a severe reduction in water pressure with a possible loss of water supply from 19:00 on 26/01/10 until mid-morning on Wednesday 27/01/10.

Pressure Reduction Notice: Glenageary
Area bounded by Glenageary Road Upper-Glenageary Road Lower-Beechwood Park-Royal Terrace West-Mulgrave Terrace-Mulgrave Street-Georges Street Upper-Haigh Terrace-Queens Road-Park Road-Summerhill Road-Rosmeen Park-Silchester Road-Marlboro Road.

Pressure Reduction Notice: Monkstown
Monkstown Road and all roads off it, Seapoint Avenue and all roads off it, Stradbrook Road and all roads off it.

Pressure Reduction Notice: Blackrock
Area includes Rock Road, Blackrock College, Castledawson Avenue, Rock Road, Mt. Merrion Avenue (Blackrock end), Frascati Road, Main Street, Newton Avenue, Temple Road, Maretimo Gardens, Blackrock Village.

Pressure Reduction Notice: Rochestown
Area bounded by Rochestown Avenue, Rochestown Park, Pearse Street Glenageary Avenue, Glenageary Road Upper, Avondale Road.

Pressure Reduction Notice: Booterstown & Mount Merrion Avenue
Booterstown Avenue and all roads off it, Merrion Grove, Belfield Park Apartments, Mount Merrion Avenue and all roads off it from The Elms to Brooklawn inclusive (East), Mount Merrion Avenue and all roads off it from South Hill Avenue to Cross Avenue inclusive (West), St. Helens, Grotto.

Foxrock area including Brighton Road, Glenamuck Road (north of M50), The Park Cabinteely, Ballyogan, The Gallops, Leopardstown, Brennanstown Road, Brewery Road, Merville, Galloping Green, Stillorgan Road (N11) part of, Woodlands, Ardagh Park, Granville and Foxrock Park, Mervill Estate, Beaufield Park, Woodlands.

Sandyford Area including Kilcross, Bracken Road, Furze Road, Heather Road, Clonard, Wesley, Dun Emer, Wedgewood, IMI, Central Bank, Enniskerry Road, Aikens Village, Sandyford Village, Stepaside, The Rectory, Cairnfort /Cruagh Wood, Lambs Cross, Hillcrest Road, Kilgobbin Road, Sandyford Hall, Sandyford Road towards Dundrum, Ticknock Hill, Simons Ridge, Kellystown, Sandyford Industrial Estate, South County Business Park, Central Park.

Pressure Reduction Notice: Rathmichael / Shankill Area.
Rathmichael area including Shanganagh, Quinns Road, Shankill village and all roads off Dublin Road, Ballyman, Corke Abbey, Woodbrook, Eaton Brae, Dorney Court, Ballyman, Old Connaught Avenue, Connawood, Woodbrook, Rathsallagh and Shanganagh Cliffs estates.
