Water has been restored to those areas of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County which were without water overnight. However, it will take some hours for supply to be restored to all affected areas and in some cases even longer. Further pressure reductions on supply this evening have now been confirmed for specific areas served by the Church Road, Sandyford and Stillorgan reservoirs. Please see below for further details. The Council continues to ask customers across the County for their continued co-operation in conserving existing water supplies.
Note to customers: Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council contains a high proportion of older housing stock with associated older plumbing systems. Householders living in these older houses are likely to experience delays in the restoration of full water supply and in particular the re-filling of storage tanks.
Please note that the water tanker is not available today, Sunday 24/01. It will however be on-site tomorrow Monday, 25/01 at Cuala, Hyde Park Road, Dalkey from 12 noon - 2pm.
Please continue to check the website and blog for updates on any further supply restrictions or pressure reductions.
