Water Disruption - Dalkey - Tuesday 5th February @ Update at 5.00pm

Water has been turned back on to Dalkey, but may take some time to get to all households, it is estimated that all households should have their water back by 6.00 pm this evening.

After any work on the watermain there may be some initial discolouration or particiles in the water. Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

The Council apologises for this disruption.

Due to a burst watermain, water has been turned off in Dalkey in order to necessitate repair.  The following areas are affected:

Ardbrugh Road
Torca Road
Knock na Cree
Sorrento Heights
Vico Road

and may affect surrounding areas.


An exact time when water will be restored cannot be given at this stage, but it is hoped that this disruption will be kept to a minimum.
