Water Disruption - Glasthule Friday 9th March 2012

Updated at 3.15pm:  The burst has now been repaired and the water turned back on.  However, it may take some time for the pressure to build up to some areas.


Please note that this burst is also affecting the Glenageary and Sandycove areas.

Due to a burst watermain the water has been turned off to all households in the Glasthule area in order to necessitate repair.


The crew are currently on site repairing the main and it is hoped to have the water restored as soon as possible. Unfortunately, an exact time when water will be restored cannot be given at this stage.

The Council apologises for this disruption to the water supply.
